High 5 Polish Days!

Good morning all! I'm a little late to the Polish Days party, but better late than never! It's also the first anniversary of Polish Days, I haven't taken part in all of them, but a huge thanks to the lovely Hannah at Polly Polish for starting PD and keeping it going :) I had almost forgotten about this month's PD, until my friend Lauretta from A Lacquered Affair kindly reminded me ;)

However, me being me, forgot again until I saw Susan's post last night on The Subtle Shimmer while trying to catch up on tweets. I used to have a brilliant memory, so I'm blaming my recent forgetfulness on work stress... Anyway, for your viewing pleasure - or entertainment though if you need a giggle - I present the number 5!

My theory was obviously to have the number five on my ring finger, but also to have five lines on each nail. I know you can only see three, but I honestly drew five. I used two coats of OPI Is That Silva? from the Skyfall collection, and the Essence Magnetic Nail Pen which I bought from Sally Magpie's. I know not everyone likes magnetic polishes, but whenever I use them (succesfully) I'm more than happy with them. I also wanted a quick, subtle design. Looking at the photographs, I have to say that the 5 is more apparent in real life, I think it's the iffy lighting I have in my office playing games with my 5.

I have loved checking out the other Polish Days posts this month, so make sure you have a browse too :)

  1. I haven't seen a magnetic pen before (I'm slow perhaps) but these look lovely - subtle yes, but really pretty.
