Jawbreaker - The Polish; Not The Sweet!

Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker is one of the gorgeous polishes sent to me in a swap by the lovely Bridget over at Polish, and Make-Up, and Cars, Oh My! This is a franken polish by Chels over at Pretty & Polished on Etsy.

The description from P&P shop: "A white base splattered with the best original jawbreaker colors! This polish has a sheer white base that can become opaque with just two nice layers. Packed with blue, green, yellow, red, and purple glitters in all different shapes and sizes!

The red square glitter in this polish can sometimes stick to the sides and bottom of the bottle. This is because the glitter is a little heavy. I am working on finding a new glitter that is lighter. Try shaking or rolling the polish upside down or letting it sit upside down for a while before using."

As you can see, the red glitter definitely settles at the bottom! However, I was pretty impatient when I received this, and just swatched it regardless. I do store it upside down now though!

I used four coats to get an opaque finish, as I found 2-3 coats to still be a bit sheer for my liking. I had my doubts about wearing a white based polish, but after trying Jawbreaker, I've been converted! Overall, I loved this polish. If you haven't tried this yet, I highly recommend it.

Have you tried Jawbreaker or another Pretty & Polished? What do you think?
