TGWTGN Festive Edit Part 2: Spiced Coco, Coffee and Biscuits...
In winter it's taken for granted that there will be spice. I don't mean people eat more curries, though they might, but rather that restaurants and cafes will offer something a little different to the usual fare. Mulled wine, eggnog latte, spiced cocoa etc. I've recently discovered a delightful spiced apple drink at one of the chain coffee stores - yum! There's something warming and relaxing about the spices in a hot drink. So in today's festive edit I have a warm, relaxing manicure to share.

A Froggy Circuit Board
Hi all! It's been a long time. Mainly because I had a slump but that's now over hopefully :) You can read more about that at the bottom of this post if you want to! Anyway, without further ado let me present my most recent mani!

Polish Days: Geometry!
This is going to be the shortest post I'm afraid! I have been so short of time recently, but I knew I just had to take part in this Polish Days when I saw the theme.

A Barry M Navy Night with Orly Snowflakes
It's snowing outside, so when better to share a little bit of seasonal nail art? In these short days, to me this colour is an almost-perfect representation of the winter night sky.

I Can Rock The World!
That may be a slight exaggeration. I obviously cannot rock the world. In fact, since my regular guitar playing days when I was ten, I've only picked up a guitar a handful of times. It's wearing Orly Rock The World, that makes me feel I can.

Post Christmas Sales Haul (Part 2)
I was slightly delayed with this follow up due to my memory failing me and not grouping my two Lush transactions together to begin with. I am a bubble bar fanatic, I love them. If you've never tried a Lush bubble bar, you haven't lived!! They are quite simply that good. My favourite has got to be The Comforter, it smells like Ribena to me and I love that as it's definitely got good associations with my childhood!

A Midnight Star with a Shot of Silver
It seems to be all my recent posts are Orly ones! Yes I'm a fan, but it's more that being in a rush quite a lot recently, they dry the fastest out of my collection. This is a delightful colour called Midnight Star. It's a shimmery purple that looks as good in the bottle as it does on my nails.

Orly Petit Four
This is the first time I'm trying this particular polish. As I've said previously, I was hooked on Orly after trying it just once. This is a fairly matte pink. I'd describe it as 'tea pink' (for those who know what pink tea looks like), or perhaps as a dusty pink. I usually like to have a bit of a shimmer in my polish, so for me to wear colours like this is fairly rare. I wasn't quite convinced when I received this in my last order, but I really liked the other two colours in the trio set BrandAlley were selling (Orly Buried Treasure and Orly Platinum).

Finding Buried Treasure
Most of the nail polishes I own are by Nails Inc but I also own quite a few Rimmel ones which I love, plus a few other brands. I had heard numerous positive comments about other brands such as OPI, Zoya and Orly, but until this year had yet to try any of them. However, the sales on BrandAlley UK changed that fairly rapidly - so thank you BrandAlley! On a whim, I bought two Orly duos in one of their sales. The second time I re-pucharsed from them when Orly re-appeared on the site, but this time without hesitation.
